Shakespearean Steam

With a magnificent steam locomotive at the helm, climb aboard and travel with us on a journey to the historic home of William Shakespeare.1

From Crewe we will head south, through rolling countryside as we speed along the West Coast Mainline. En-route we will pass through Walsall and Birmingham, with views of the historic canals before travelling on through the stunning Warwickshire scenery, prior to our arrival in Stratford-upon-Avon.

One of Britain's most historic and vibrant towns, Stratford sits astride the River Avon and, with numerous delightful timbered buildings and heritage sites, there is no shortage of places to explore.

Visit the birthplace of the immortal bard himself, William Shakespeare, perhaps Anne Hathaway's cottage, or just explore the numerous quaint side streets and riverside parkland.
